In this role, Brian will be responsible for leading legal and compliance functions and providing strategic advice to the company's leadership and Board of Directors. As we continue our global expansion as one of the world’s leading prime brokerage firms, Brian's extensive experience will help us accelerate our growth.
Brian brings over 20 years of expertise in financial services, emerging technologies, and payments from his roles at leading companies like Citi, Uber, and eBay. Most recently, Brian served as Vice President for Payments and Financial Services at eBay, where he led the global legal and compliance teams focused on payments, risk, and new financial products.
Prior to eBay, Brian was Chief Payments Counsel at Uber, responsible for building the legal and compliance functions for payments, risk, banking, and financial services from the ground up. His team played a crucial role in Uber's payments partnerships and financial product development during a period of massive growth.
At Citi, Brian served as Chief Counsel overseeing the bank's digital payments and commerce initiatives. Throughout his career, he has advised major corporations worldwide on navigating the legal and regulatory complexities involved with developing innovative financial products and payment solutions.
